Jean-Yves Ollivier receives the Grand Prix for his outstanding work as a mediator in major international conflicts. His remarkable career includes his crucial contribution to the end of apartheid in South Africa, his efforts to mediate peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and his recent attempts to mediate the Russia-Ukraine conflict. President and founder of Fondation Brazzaville since 2014, he works with governments, businesses and civil society to foster sustainable development in Africa. His foundation promotes African initiatives in the fields of peace, health and the environment, supporting the African Union's Agenda 2063 and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat is the recipient of the Contribution to Prosperity Award in recognition of her decisive role in Egypt's economic transformation. With her remarkable experience at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, she has developed recognized expertise in international economic diplomacy. As Minister, she orchestrated major economic reforms and developed innovative strategies for international cooperation. Her leadership was particularly visible in the development of the Sharm El-Sheikh Guide to Fair Financing, which identifies the obstacles to climate investments and proposes concrete solutions for mobilizing the financing needed for sustainable development.
Myriam Dossou is being rewarded for her outstanding commitment to local development and the fight against vulnerability. She founded Togo's Institut National d'Assurance Maladie in 2012 and led it with remarkable success for 12 years, revolutionizing access to healthcare for Togo's vulnerable populations. Her pioneering work in developing health insurance systems has significantly improved health coverage and reduced inequalities in access to care. Now Vice-President of Togo's National Assembly, she continues to raise the stakes of social protection and inclusive development at the highest level of government.
