Alhaji serves as the Co-Founder & Managing Director of ADAN Impact GmbH and is the Founder of ADAN e.V., the largest Afro-Diasporic organization for Black students and professionals across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. His expertise spans international banking, finance, and impact asset management, specializing in Relationship Management, Business Development, and Fundraising.
With a background rooted in experiences as the first-born child of Sierra Leonean immigrants, growing up in a small German town and pioneering an academic career within his family, Alhaji established ADAN e.V. in 2014. This platform aims to promote diversity, provide role models, and build sustainable connections between Africa and Europe. Under his leadership, ADAN e.V. has grown to over 600 members in 10 cities, offering various empowerment programs and events, including ADAN Elevate and ADAN aXd Program, fostering entrepreneurship and exchange within the African Diaspora.
In 2022, Alhaji co-founded ADAN Impact GmbH, operating ADAN Careers, Europe's premier career platform for Black and People of Color. The company facilitates talent-company connections through career fairs, recruitment events, and advisory services, aiming to cultivate inclusive company cultures and empower Black and People of Color.
Alhaji's advisory roles extend to SASD Global Ltd., and he is a member of the BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Network and a Futurity Fellow. Recognized for his advocacy and leadership, he was selected for the Leaders Lead On-Demand “African Descendant Social Entrepreneurship Network” by the US State Department and named a LinkedIn Top Voice for Black History Month in 2024.
In his leisure time, Alhaji delves into pre-colonial African history, enjoys weightlifting to Afrobeats, and indulges in epic movies like Game of Thrones. He holds a Master's degree in International Business and Politics from Queen Mary University of London and a certificate in Venture Financing from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Additionally, he serves on the Advisory Board of StArfrica, promoting exchanges between startups from Germany and Africa.
